LEWIS CLUTURE MODEL
LEWIS CLUTURE MODEL AND NEW ZELAND
British polyglot and author on linguist, Richard Lewis. He divided the cultural population into three groups: Linear-actives, multi-actives and reactives.
New Zealand could be considered as a hybrid between linear-active and multiactive, with greater tendencies to be task-oriented, highly organized planners who complete action-chains by doing one thing at a time, with a linear agenda. Which can be explained with that they prefer direct discussion, sticking to facts and figures from reliable, written sources. Also, speech is for information exchange, and they talk and listen in equal proportions. New Zealand is more considered a linear-active, but when it comes to relations with people they will be determined as Multi-actives
